PHOTOS OF MUG DINNER AT MACDESIGN CONFERENCE ONLINE
Lesa Snider and Lorene Romero of the Apple User Group Advisory Board
hosted an informal "dutch treat" informal get-together on Thursday at the
MacDesign Conference in Chicago. The ladies provided information about
the Apple User Group Program, establishing relationships with your local
Apple Store, the importance of communicating through the Apple User Group
Discussion list and more. Scott Kelby of MacDesign magazine stopped by
(twice!) to tell the group entertaining MUG stories, and to compliment
Lesa and Lorene on their excellent Birds Of A Feather session, "Why User
Groups Are A Great Resource."

Macintosh User Group newsletter editors now officially have a terrific
new resource for their publications, courtesy of Macworld magazine. The
first of Chris Breen's Macworld's "Mac 911" column for use in MUG
newsletters has been posted to The MUG Center's Newsletter Content E-mail
List.
Chris, the author of Secrets of the iPod and Mac 911 will be providing
select portions of "Mac 911" column of tips, tricks and answers to
difficult questions for publication in MUG newsletters. Just be sure to
use the included attribution paragraph.
Sign up for the Newsletter Content Email List and start taking advantage
of the work of Chris and many other MUG authors who contribute to the
list. And don't forget to post your own group's original articles.
USER GROUP MAILBOX FEATURES KEYNOTE, APPLEWORKS, MORE FOR YOUR MUG
