Well, things certainly aren't like the "good old days" when we used to have
vendors fighting all over each other to get the lead spot. In those days, it
wasn't unusual to have two full presentations on each meeting night. But
these days... well.
This year we did have a rep from FileMaker... I met the sales manager at
MacWorld and by coincidence our webmaster had written directly to them.
We are lucky to have an Apple Solutions Consultant at one of the CompUSAs
who has made several presentations.
As I've mentioned in another string, the local Apple Stores claim that it is
Apple policy to no longer come to user groups. We also have an apple
education engineer but we can't seem to schedule him. You folks with Dave
Marra back east are really lucky.
