Hi!
Just wanted to say thanks to the many folks who contributed thoughts,
directions, and even files in response to my note a week or two ago
asking for help in putting together a presentation for our MUG on
Databases in the Home.
As always, I am sure I could do a better job if I had the chance to do
the presentation a second time, but overall I think we were able to
give everyone an interesting intro to iData Pro, AppleWorks' database
module, and FileMaker. There were lots of questions which is always a
good sign.
And I had to compete with another club member who was doing a
presentation on how he used PhotoShop to massage a photograph he had
taken of his BarberShop Singers group, including putting uniforms on
the folks who forgot to wear theirs for the group photograph and
inserting people into the picture who weren't even there when the photo
was taken!! Tough audience!!
