Thanks to everyone for your input and concerns to this discussion list.
It's a great resource for Apple user group leaders to learn from and
help each other.
On the subject of a specific user group offering Apple software updates
on a CD, let's go ahead and take this topic off the list for now. The
issue is really between Apple and that group.
That said, it is illegal for a MUG to distribute Apple copyrighted software
--including software that is a free download from the Apple website-- to MUG
members at the present time.
