Good luck with "ShareTheMac"... I'm glad you got through
to him.
I'm not recommending any of their products. Last year we
were curious about them, and attempted opening some channels
because they "advertise" they're a user group.
I suspect they are just a couple of people selling CDs.
We ordered product to trace the money trail, and it led
to Peru. We did get product, (shipped from Peru in a
plain envelope) of which many of the files were corrupted,
and/or missing. It appeared like "shovelware" merely
loading CDs with 'anything' and selling them.
They use UCE (spam) to advertise their product, which is
what first brought them under our microscope. I've gotten
spam from them in at least two sleeper accounts.
Chris, if they do indeed remove the licensed software, that'll
be a feather in your cap. I suspect they won't.
Like most off-shore spammers, they just laugh
on their way to the bank. 9 bucks is a lot of money in Peru.
:-)
