Trish,
We have a small group, about 40. Usually 15 or so at meetings. We meet in
a local church hall. We make an offering to the church twice a year.
Several members bring laptops to the meeting (iBooks and G4 Powerbooks). We
occasionally have a guest speaker. Our meetings mostly relate to computer
tasks as well as discussions of problems encountered with equipment and/or
software.
We do not have internet access at our meeting facility. No sound system or
projection equipment. I estimate that about half the membership is using OS
X. At least two members are using Panther.
We have been meeting at the church for at least six or so years and do not
contemplate a change. The church is happy with us and the feeling is
mutual.
