As I said before, in Macs, they mount as multiple discs, where as in Windows, it shows only the last session's name and data. This phenomenon of different folders, I have yet to see. Believe me, I deal with Mac-written and Windows-written multisession discs everyday.

It's been my experience that a Multi-Session CD will mount with the last session's title, but all sessions visible to the Windows user as separate directories on the CD. Macs on the other hand, display each session as separate CD, individually unmountable.

Most machines read multisession discs. I am reluctant to say this, but Windows seems to have a better inbuilt CD Burning system which automatically burns multi-session CDs. In addition, for those people who have tried burning multi-session CDs with other software like Toast, would want to to note that only the last written Volume appears in Windows. The rest of the volumes only mount on the Mac. This system of writing a new volume every time is not very effective.
