Lisa, this is our Holiday program for Dec. '03. Last year we had Corel
present.
We do some other stuff for member & officer recognition annually.

Mariel & Helmut Hunkeler have offered to present for our big event. She is
the Epson rep and he is a photographer from the European school & has much
to offer on Digital Imaging. They suggested that they bring some of the
new neato Epson printers, scanners, cameras, etc. to our meeting so that
Smugglers could directly print either from their digital cameras or media cards on
different types of photo-papers. This would be a fantastic way to see the
excellent quality of the Epson printers plus have a memento of sorts!
Mariel will try to get some promo items. Besides documentation, perhaps
pens, shirts, whatever.
To make it more affordable, we will have the MacParty @ Thai Taste on 295.
I talked to the owner last time I was there and they are willing to do
whatever we want. We will block off the entire back room for December 15th to keep
in line with our regular 3rd Monday of the month meeting date and not TOO
close to xmas). They also can do Chinese for non-Thai afficiandos.
SMUG will invite regional MacUserGroups to join us in this happy event (from
Atlanta to Raleigh & all SC & NC MUGs) see <A
