Black shirts in 100% cotton ("beefy-T" is usually best for a small cost
difference) work best. Be sure that your screener applies a white layer
UNDER the color you choose so that the colors "pop." They should already
know this.

Think contrast; yellow on black, red on black and use cool tones for
contrast and shadow effects. Be sure to save your art with any shading or
effects SCREENED or they may not appear correctly. 2D works best so be
creative.

Small logo on front left chest, the big stuff on the back. Use that space
well...

You can contact our MaMUGs t-shirt place: Ben Rinker email@hidden or
call 215-773-8300 x 101 -- his web site is <
http://www.peacemakerinc.com>
(a little dated as a site goes so it is best to call or email Ben).
Be sure to ask for the MaMUGs special pricing. Also, get samples from
several sources if you have the time. They send them for free and it
gives you a better idea of materials and final products

Don't be afraid to go with two or more colors. The difference is stunning
and I have found that the results look so much better. One ex. is a red
logo with white text beneath it (the darker color should be the larger
image).
Try to get your local reseller, sponsor or members' organization to help
with the costs and you can apply a small logo on the back side for them
as well (if they insist). GREAT way to help and they may have a supplier
who will do this for you, too.
More lead time and ALWAYS get samples before the big order. Save the rush
charges and be sure you get what you want.
I'd ask anyone with a really great place to post their contact info as we
are always looking for outstanding quality for a great price (seems
logical, doesn't it?). Just beware any "cheapie" shirt places if you
don't see the samples and get all set up fees up front.
Cheers,
Dan
