MICROSOFT TOURS MACINTOSH USER GROUPS WITH OFFICE:MAC 2004
Gary Wilson of Microsoft let us know that he and other members of his
team are hitting the road for a tour of Macintosh User Groups through
June. In the coming weeks you can see a dynamite presentation on the new
Microsoft Office 2004 at an impressive list of user groups from coast to
coast.

PRINCETON STUDENT MACINTOSH USERS' GROUP HOLDS GARAGEBANDFEST 04
The Princeton Student Macintosh Users' Group is putting a new twist on
the iMovieFest concept with the latest offering in Apple's iLife '04
suite, and are holding GarageBandFest '04, a contest for all Princeton
University students, faculty and staff to create and submit original
compositions, regardless of their musical experience or talent. Prizes
include 2 15-GB Apple iPods, iTunes Gift Certificates, and more. They've
even arranged to have non-Mac users participate by having GarageBand
loaded on iMacs in a cluster on campus.

MACINTOSH USER GROUP DAY ON APRIL 24 AT O'REILLY
O'Reilly and The North Coast Macintosh Users Group have announced
Macintosh User Group Day, to be held on April 24 on the O'Reilly campus
in Sebastopol CA. Attendees will enjoy presentations by Derrick Story,
Chris Stone, Tom Negrino, Dori Smith and Scott Fullam.
