Passing this along in case anyone else runs into the same problem.
Last week, I had no trouble downloading that week's YML (Your Mac Life)
audio file from Chuck's email, just by clicking on the link in his
message.
This week (i.e. this morning), when I did the same thing on Chuck's
latest message, my browser Safari launched but presented me with an
error message: " The requested URL /subpages/qt/MUGS/YML040407.mp3 was
not found on this server."
I went back to last week's email message and noted that I got the same
error with it.
I reported the issue to Chuck, who let me know that he was not having
any trouble and suggested I try again later.
When I looked very, very closely at the URL which Safari was trying to
find, I noticed that it was the same URL which Chuck had put in his
email message but that it then had the characters " " tagged onto the
end, right after the ".mp3" characters. I simply edited those three
characters out of the URL, hit Return, and the file download proceeded
with no problem.
As far as I can recall, the only thing which has changed on my iMac in
the past week has been the latest Apple Security Update.
Anyway, I am a happy camper again, but have no idea why I am having
this issue. If anyone else runs into it, hopefully this info will help.
I am running OS 10.3.3 running the Mail 1.3.7 application for my email
and Safari 1.2.1 as my browser.
