Often ISP's and Mail Server administrators set up filters to filter out
keywords. So if some of your mail isn't getting through it could be the
terms or phrases that you are using. It could also be the filtering being
used by the individual recipients. ISP's also sometimes block mail being
sent to "too many" people at their domain. For example, if you tried to send
a message to 100 people at comcast.com, it may be blocked as potential junk.
Another tactic ISP's use is subscribing to published "black lists" of
domains and IP addresses of known spammers. At one point macgroup.org ended
up on one of these lists and we could no longer send emails to users are
tir.net/com or comcast.com. It was eventually resolved automatically.
Frequency should be limited to no more mail than necessary. Try to direct
more traffic to the group's web site or iCal for announcements and
schedules.
