USER GROUP SURVEY: NEWSLETTER PUBLICATION ANSWERS AND USER GROUP HARDWARE
QUESTION
Our MUG Center Survey question for this week targets the physical assets
of user groups. Today's MUG meetings usually require a notable amount of
hardware to get the job done. This week, we ask: What hardware does your
user group own? Last week we asked you to tell us how your group delivers
your monthly publication, and we found that over 80% of the responding
user groups have switched from the traditional paper format delivered by
postal mail to a more efficient, cost effective online delivery distribution.

THE MUG CENTER DELIVERS HOLIDAY GIFT PICKS FOR MAC USERS
So you ventured out on Black Friday, returned home bruised, battered and
exhausted, yet still have Mac users to shop for? So do we. Starting
today, and through the holidays, we will be posting some of our favorite
hardware, software and Mac services picks (and some non-Mac items as
well, to keep it interesting) to help you stay out of the mall, where it
is safe.

MACWORLD EXPO DISCUSSIONS IN THE MUG CENTER'S FORUMS
Discussions about January's Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco
have started in The MUG Center Forums. If you're planning on making the
trip, post your questions and tips about how to have a great Expo week,
both at the show and after it closes. We've already invited forum members
to post their favorite restaurant suggestions, since planning dinner is
one of the best things about a trip to San Francisco. If you are looking
for thoughts on where to stay and what to see, this is the place to get
quality information. There is also a link to a guide to affordable dining
in the Moscone Center area so you can eat lunch and not break the bank.
