WESTERN MAC USERS GROUP CONDUCTS THEIR FIRST iMOVIEFEST
The Western Mac Users Group, the campus group of Western Washington
University in Bellingham, WA recently completed their first iMovieFest.
The movie-making event for students drew sixty students, who participated
on a team basis. The event's culmination, iMovieFest Premier Night, was
well attended. All the details, as well as all eight entries, can be

FEBRUARY EDITION OF "BREEN'S BUNGALOW" FOR MACINTOSH USER GROUPS FEATURES
PANTHER TIPS
The latest edition of the user group-only version of "Breen's Bungalow"
is now available for download by Apple-recognized user groups. In this
edition, Chris provides a dose of Panther Tips. The User Group edition of
"Breen's Bungalow" includes new content produced exclusively for user
groups, and is of higher quality than delivered through any other channel.

"WEB WATCH" RESOURCE ADDED TO MUG NEWSLETTER CONTENT LIST
The MUG Center has added another resource for MUG newsletter material to
the Newsletter Content Email List. A new column of interesting articles,
news, tips and tricks from some of our favorite web sites, entitled Web
Watch, will be published to the list on an as-justified basis. Each
edition of the column will feature several brief, descriptive summaries
of a story, along with the link to the full article. Newsletter editors
are encouraged to use the summaries and links as-is, and to solicit
permission from the publishing web site if they wish to reprint the full
text of any one article.

FEBRUARY VENDOR OFFERS FOR USER GROUPS POSTED
New offers from vendors who support Macintosh User Groups have been added
to our Vendor Offers for MUGs page. This month, they include special

APPLE REGIONAL LIAISON DISPATCH: FEBRUARY SUMMARY OF MUG EVENTS IN THE
NORTHWEST US
The latest RL Dispatch has been filed from the Northwest United States by
Chris Kiltz, the Northwest US Apple Regional Liaison. Chris' report
includes updates on new MUGs in Idaho and Oregon, quarterly regional web
conferences thanks to Pixion, an update on the "new" WhatMUG, a new web
address for the South Puget Sound Macintosh Users Group, regional
meetings and events of interest, and more.
