We stopped our library. We had Video tape classes on System 7, Claris Works
and so on. Our library lady faithfully brought the tapes in every month but,
they became so out dated, we gave up on them. The same went for books. I know
that some groups charged the retail price for both and when it was returned,
the
member got their money back. It became a hassle when the library lady had to
search for people. After a while, no one was interested.
It would be nice to have a club computer but, you get the question, who will
keep it, where would you store it...until someone needed it.
Now if some MUG had an over abundance of projectors, our group would gladly
pay the shipping. Like most MUGS and Mac users, I have a large bag of cables.
I
now have no idea what some of them do therest are so old. Many of them are
serial cables for printers long gone and SCSI cables of vast varieties. Other
equipment long past its prime, would only get a chuckle if you wanted to give
it
away. Any one need a 90 MB Bernoulli box and 3 disks?
