GEEKS & GADGETS STAGE AT MACWORLD WILL FEATURE MUG EVENTS & RESOURCES SESSION
User groups will have a place on the Geeks & Gadgets Stage at Macworld
Expo, and your group can get involved. On Wednesday, July 14th at 1:30
PM, MUG Center Editor Chuck Joiner will host the "Cool Resources Created
by Macintosh User Groups" session. Macintosh User Groups are known for
regular meetings on topics of interest, but they do much, much more.
Discussion groups, web sites, special events, theme meetings, and much
more are available from hundreds of volunteer organizations throughout
the world. This session will introduce those resources and spotlight some
of the more outstanding examples. If your user group does something
unusual, cool, or unique, if youUve had a special visitor in the past
year, or partipated in a local or regional event, email
email@hidden for information on how to submit photos, iMovies or
other information, and get your group included in the presentation.

MACINTOSH USER GROUP BOOTH WILL GIVE MUGs A PRESENCE ON THE MACWORLD
EXPO EXHIBIT FLOOR
If you're coming to Macworld Conference & Expo in Boston, be sure to stop
by the User Group Booth, #338. You'll find volunteer MUG leaders and
members from a variety of user groups representing their organizations as
well as the larger Macintosh User Group community. Macworld attendees
will be able to find out about the many resources offered by MUGs around
the globe, and how to connect with them. If your group would like to be
represented in the User Group Booth, volunteers are still being accepted.
Email email@hidden for information on how to get involved. Macworld
Conference & Expo is always more fun when you are participating.

APPLE REGIONAL LIAISON DISPATCH: NEWS FROM THE NORTHWEST U.S.
Apple Regional Liaison Chris Kiltz has a new Regional Liaison Dispatch
posted for June. It seems that there's always something exciting going on
in the Northwest United States from a MUG perspective, and Chris is
always on top of it. This month, a swap meet, Office 2004, several
different meetings, and a look back at a regional Mac event highlight her
report.
