Warren, as Yogi Berra is reputed to have said "it's deja vu all over
again." You ask what kind of templates we might use for our group
records. I can remember, and it's not been that many years, when the
User Group Connection had a collection of documents and templates in
Clarisworks format called "Just Add Water."
I bring this up at every User Group University as a "must have" so
groups aren't constantly reinventing the wheel. So far, it hasn't made
the light of day.
I wonder if somewhere in the bottomless records of CWUG, you might have
those templates. Please check and if so, sure would be great if you
shared with all of us.

I enjoyed reading the messages that many of you posted describing the
history
of your groups. Many of your postings make the AppleWorks Users Group
(founded in 1991 but with roots back to the 1986 formation of the
National AppleWorks
Users Group) seem like a late-comer to the user group party.
Over the years, your user group has probably developed some efficient
ways to
use your Macintosh systems to maintain your membership rosters and
financial
records.
Do you mind describing how you keep those records? Do you think your
group
would be willing to share your templates with some of the newer and
smaller
groups in our midst?
