Dear Glenn,
Promotional items on Apple Sales Web are pretty much a hit or miss thing.
Sometimes they are available and sometimes not. You can check back on
ASW from time to time, but I wouldn't really count on it.
If you plan to go to Macworld SF in January, you may want to plan a day trip
to the Apple Campus in Cupertino, CA. The Apple Company Store is open to the
public and has stuff like this available. They are open weekdays during
business hours.
Another possibility (admittedly not Apple logo, but maybe better) is to have
items made with your group's own logo. Local "personalizing" shops and
outfits like Café Press (http://www.cafepress.com) can put your logo on all
sorts of items. I've seen groups use group logo pens, shirts, mugs, tote
bags, etc. as door prizes, speaker thank-you's, gifts for officer and board
members, awards for service and, yes, incentives to run for office.
Hope this helps,
Elsa
