this could give you some troubles too... but
you were : Geek nights"
take : Ge & ni...s = Genis / Jedis
and they will say this is too close to Genius (Genius Bar)
My resident geek remembers when in the mid-nineties while attending
OpenDoc kitchens in Germany there was a constant flow of chocolate
(cocoa) and even chocolate covered coffee grains. Maybe you can play
with the chocolate, cocoa, coffee etc names...
he also suggests :
Roast Nights
Brewing Nights
Deep Nights
but he also points out that maybe what bothers Apple is the word
"nights" :-) but, alas, he is a natural born geek.

Amaya

I am starting a programmers / power users technical group in Seattle,
Wa. (not currently affiliated with any other group).
The first organizational meeting is the last Tuesday in October with
regular weekly meetings starting in November.
We will be using the University Village Apple store for our more
general meetings the first and third Tuesdays of the month.
The first and third Tuesdays will be focused on general programming
and power users, all other Tuesdays (which will be held away from the
Apple store) will be focused on Cocoa and more advanced programming
topics.
The problem is the name, the manager and I have been using the name
"geek nights", however someone at Apple does not like the name and has
requested a change (it has to go into the Apple store's calendar
publication).
I am looking for any creative suggestions for a new name.
