MUG Salute: Dayton Microcomputer Association
The Dayton Microcomputer Association (DMA) is a long time user
group dating back to the days of the AOL User Group Forum and
remains one of the computer stand-outs in the Dayton Ohio with
nearly 789 members across three platforms.
This community group is open to anyone for support for Mac
and other platforms through meetings, newsletter, programs
and help. Some of their SIGs include Geneology, Certfication,
Digital Photography, and Digital Textiles. Their annual
Computerfest is now in its 29th year, and they actually
own their own Internet Services Provider Gemair.com. For
9 years, they've spear-headed their own computer recycling
project OTAP (Ohio Technology Project) recycling over 3500
computers back into their community.
