MUG Salute: Tulsa Users of Macintosh Society
On October 12th, the Tulsa Users of Macintosh Society (TUMS) is
celebrating its 20th anniversary. I am planning on being in attendance
as they honored me with a Life Time Membership when I moved to Texas
in 1998. I understand that at one point they had over 400 members, but
when I was there we started at about 50 and with the effort of a lot
of people rebuilt the club to nearly 200 members. With as many as 98
people in attendance at one meeting. They have always done a good job
with membership services and still run a very good First Class BBS on
the Internet.
