"Oh well" Allan,
I am in complete agreement with what John from XMUG and Michael Briney. The
.Mac is for your club's use. It is not for our personal use. It is very sad
to see a fellow MUG Ambassador to appear so "put out" about having to do
something for their club.
I find the trainings useful information and pass it on to our members. Yes,
NCMUG has its own hosted site, but we use the .Mac account for our
slideshows and keep it updated. Sorry to hear you do not feel the 2 hours it
takes for test worthwile for your members.
For me, as the club's Ambassador, it is well worth the time. My job, as
Ambassador, is to pass on informaiton to our members.
Please tell me you pass the monthly discounts, that are provided in the User
Group Bulletin, on to them. Tom Piper puts a lot of time and energy into
getting the offers to pass to you to pass to them. How do I know how much
time he puts in? Because I did it for 5 years.
