We (in Naples, FL) may be fortunate in being able to buy equipment at regular intervals at competitive prices. Equipment purchasing is a low priority
My wish is for MORE, Better support of Apple’s software. The reason we really buy Apple computers is because the software is so much better.
It is impossible to get ANY support of Apple software applications for our area. Our only information is the set of sites available via the Apple web site. These are “good” but need an expert to interpret.
I know Apple can’t afford to send tech people to all our MUG locations. BUT they could do a better job of supporting their products.
One suggestion I have made SEVERAL times is to use Apple’s Video Conferencing capability to meet with remote MUG locations. Apple’s new software would let us have 3 or more locations share one meeting with an Apple expert.

My wish would be that Apple would allow each user group to purchase one machine for group presentations (PowerBook, Mac mini, etc) at cost.
