We have three wishes: more volunteers, more volunteers and more
volunteers. People to tutor and repair computers and egos. People
who can answer questions by phone or email. (Personally I encourage
people to email me with questions but discourage the phone calls.
This takes up less of my time and the victim has a written answer to
their question which, hopefully, they will print out for next time.)
I guess the question is, "How do you get people to volunteer and
stick with you?" Definitely with respect and gratitude. Volunteers
have to be treated well or they move on.
By the way, have you heard Queen Elizabeth has an iPod? You go, Girl!
