Well, I really wanted to grab your attention. ;-)
Ladies, gents and everyone, it is true: I (David Feng) will actually be
there, representing BeiMac, and I will actually be coming to San Fran in
about 2 months time. This will be my second visit to America, and the
first since late 1998, when -- sadly -- flu coming into NY Kennedy Airport
(think 100F) ruined it all.
(Note to self: KEEP FIT!)
I am aware that there will be more than one American in the US who knows
about the very presence of BeiMac. (The MacDirectory, MacAddict and Wired
interviews ruined it all -- they gave away the secret. <rotfl>). In the
People's Republic, we're supposed to keep that kind of glory to ourselves,
and possibly not give it away and appear like the media-crazy Supreme
Great Leader.
So... having said that, I will be coming to the US in January 2006, for
about 10 days. If in this time any groups in the SF area wants me to
actually visit their group, I'm more than happy to.
I am also more than happy -- only too happy, in fact -- to share the
BeiMac tale, including extravaganzas such as how to handle a 2,000 member
(online) group web site, how to keep on innovating, and how to ensure
1,288% growth in meeting participation.
Oh, and if anyone wants to brush up their Chinese... let me know. ;-)
See you in San Fran!
Regards,
David Feng
BeiMac President
