We use BOTH.
It depends on the SIG leader and what they use to present with.
For instance: Chris in the Digital Photography SIG uses Elements
but I: Graphics SIG and Mac OS X use Photoshop...
Having seen both programs - I think you'd be "safe" using Elements 3
in "standard mode" to work your magic, and those folks who know
Photoshop would be able to figure out what your doing [as they likely
know more from the get-go].
