The bottom line here seems to be either internal miscommunication at Google
or that Apple has indeed, for some odd reason, restricted certain registered
trademarks/words from appearing in adwords not only in the EU but also in
the US.
That¹s my recent experience.
Now, someone explain to me what on earth the benefit is for Apple doing
this. I sure can't figure it out.
Lets take it a step further. Why shouldn't Apple ban or force a name change
for all user groups with "Mac" or "Macintosh" or "Apple" or "moof" in their
name? They did it to companies with iPod in the name. Why stop at iPod?
Cause those companies make money?
This is all a bit silly and as Adam says, ill advised.
