Hi Trish, Thanks for looking into this and being a good List Mom. :-) The Apple Newsletter Editors List, TMC-NLC, is set up so a reply goes to the whole List. To be honest and in my experience, this is how most List Serve groups function. But now I note that that it is on a Yahoo Server.
Apple has obviously set up its groups to "reply to sender", unless one hits "reply all", which I will now do for my postings and the sake of continuity, IMO. :-) Auntie Em

Having just now spoken with those in the know at Apple, it is strongly recommended that the reply go to the poster rather than to the entire list. Because they know more than I do about the reasoning (other than it can cause a real problem when a reply goes to an entire list when intended for an individual), and because I tend to follow advice from those in the know, the "reply to" field will remain the same -- to the poster.
Please just hit "reply all" when you want a response to go to all.
Thanks for understanding,
Trish

With that in mind, I am asking whomever admins this list of they could change the mailman setting so that emails broadcast out include the list address in the reply-to field. I think the list would work a lot better if, when I reply, it is to the list, not to the poster to the list.
