I agree! AAMOF we are at the top of the chain of command! We buy
the h'ware and s'ware that keeps Apple in business. With the Intel
architecture and the Unix base. The Alpha Geeks are talking porting
OS X to *any* Intel h'ware. That combined w/ the DRM fiasco and the
movement towards other OSes; i.e. Debian and Ubuntu, would really
put the consumer in a better position to deal w / Apple and M$. As
people get more disenchanted and more educated, if Apple doesn't
listen it might become a "starter" kit for people to move away
from. Sorry for the rant.
Hi Richard,
I don't think you can really say that there is a movement towards
other OSes. Yes, there were a couple of high profile defections but
when you look at the facts it's not as if there is any evidence that
people are moving away from the Mac with any momentum - in fact the
opposite remains true. Apple's market share is growing.
As for the DRM fiasco? Care to elaborate?
