Hi,
Can anyone please help me? I posted once before but got absolutely zilch
response, so I guess nobody on here uses video, but if anyone does or can help
me out I'd like to put a program together for our group that involves High
Definition video and TV.
Can AVCHD video (that uses mp4a compression) be edited on a Mac?
If so, I may get a local TV firm interested in having a demo night together with
the local camera shop and Mac dealer to show us how he whole thing is done.
Many thanks,

Hi Everyone.
I missed role call and a few conversations because I've been a bit
busy, but I'm still here, listening and trying to help where I can.
If I may, I have some news to share.
Those of you who are old-timers here may remember my Mac Efficiency
101 column, which ran on MacCentral in its heyday. For years people
have been asking me to write it for OSX. So today I am happy to
announce...
Mac Efficiency™ for OS X
<http://macefficiency.com/>
I invite you all to have a look and, if you enjoy it, to tell your
Mac-using friends.
In the old days, several newsletter editors asked for permission to
reprint some of the columns. As long as I was asked, I always
obliged. I'd be happy to do that again when asked.
Thanks.

PS: Some of you have been asking about the next Party For The People,
my Macworld Expo party. I've put a statement up on the home page of
my own site, <http://www.Shadovitz.com>, which basically explains
that since Paul Kent is doing an official party this time on Tuesday
night, I won't be doing one that night. But there may be something
else later on. I'm not sure as I've been working flat out on the Mac
Efficiency™ site.
