We've been producing a video podcast for the last few months. I was
surprised how easy it was once I got the basics down. I believe I
will also be reducing future podcasts to only the presentation and
Q&A session. My members have been complaining about the size.
You can subscribe to out podcast through iTunes by searching the
podcasts for "VMUG"

Gail,
I will be unable to attend, but I am interested in the topic. This
has come up occasionally at SMUG and my current response is "If we
have a volunteer willing to do the recording and post production
then I would be willing to entertain doing this." Some of my
members have other reservations to this such as not wanting to be
"On the record", etc... I don't have any thoughts on that one way
or the other.
We are looking at doing a podcast involving some of our officers
looking at the Mac and its usage in our area. We hope to have that
up in a month or so.
I would be interested in what the other clubs are doing.

Hello all..
I will be presenting at the Florida Association of Computer User
Groups next month as I have for the past five years. This year,
my focus will be Podcasting your meetings (audio/video) to post on
your group website for those unable to attend meetings, or simply
to archive your meetings.
Any MUGs in the Central Florida area (or beyond) are encouraged to
attend! (I come from Vermont!)
In the past, Apple had lots of presence at this conference but
over the years it has been reduced significantly. I'd like to see
more involvement from your groups if possible.
Please check out the website, register (if you are close by), and
certainly submit your newsletter/websites to be considered for the
awards.

Feel free to help out at the conference!!
Cheers,
