Hello everyone!
I just completed a quick/dirty *first attempt* at using iWeb and the new iLife '06 to create a site on our .Mac account and I thought that some of you might appreciate a look at the output quality.
Clearly, there is a lot more that can be done with all of this great stuff. No Podcast yet and just the basics here.
Some pics are from the keynote address, a lot of the various parties, some press events and user group activities, etc.. It also includes my "shorthand" notes from the keynote as a 'Blog and some other basic info – just to test the apps (iPhoto, iWeb). Both iLife '06 and iWork '06 seem to be more fluid, faster and have most of the little things worked out of them. You are going to LOVE the new transitions in Keynote (if they are not overused, IMHO, like all such things).
So far, pretty slick stuff! :) Based on same "feel" as Pages and Keynote...I'm interested in hearing any thoughts and/or seeing anything anyone else may have created at this point.
(FWIW, the URL is short to send and display, but it expands once the page appears in the browser)
Thanks to everyone who was so generous with their time at UGU and at Macworld Expo overall. It was one of the best years in many and a really exciting time. What a great year it should be for MUGs!
Best Regards,
Daniel East
