If you aren't using MacOSX's Mail.app, I can't help you any, except to try it. The Junk filter starts in training mode, so you can mark every junk mail with a junk mail flag, and it will be highlighted differently on your screen. Train it for a few weeks, and it will get pretty good at marking junk, Not 100%, but pretty good. Then, when you are ready, open Mail Preferences, and inthe Junk tab,you can set it to "automatic", and it will move all your junk into the junk folder. It's never perfect, but I usually get more than half my junk mail in the junk folder every day.
