I have been using SpamSiev with Mail for about a month now.
http://c-command.com/spamsieve/
It adds Bayesian spam filtering.

Michael Tsai has developed a wonderful program which I highly recommend.

I don't use Mail, either. And sorry to hear about Mozilla apps not
working too well, even with anti-SPAM sw. Not sure what anti-SPAM
sw you are using, but I'm well pleased with SpamSieve when used
with Eudora. I have 7 - 8 addresses and usually get only 2 - 3 SPAM
messages into my regular mail boxes ( per day ). I just dump them
into a "Suspected SPAM" box and tell SpamSieve to add them to its
"corpus". Not sure what all it looks for in the SPAM to keep up
with what I give it. ;-) Not sure SpamSieve works with Mail, but I
sure recommend it.
