I don't know about you, but if there was one thing I could change on the iMac and MacBooks its the size of the CD slot.
I make CDs for my club members. They contain some info, hot links to freeware, shareware and commercial software downloads. I also give hot links for hard to find updates for various products ... and other fun stuff like computer jokes, and cartoons.
I don't buy cheap (thick) blank CDs and I use brand name CD labels from Fellows and Memorex. Discus makes a good label and Stomper puts it together.
The CDs go in the new Macs just fine, but ejecting them is proving problematic. They don't come out because the CD plus label is a hair too thick for the slot. Maybe not even a hair, just a smidgen.
If Apple would only assume that we'd actually use the CD/DVD burner AND think we'd use something other than a "Sharpie" to label our disks, well that would be ducky.
I wonder is it because we're supported to buy the laser burner for our CD labeling system? Too expensive for me and mine.
How could I pass this suggestion along to the Apple engineer responsible for this design flaw (er, I mean "feature")? Could they shave the opening just 1/64 to 1/32 wider?
