Hi All,
Dennis Wurster here, from USA's "North Coast" in Rochester, NY.
I'm mostly a lurker on this list, and a current board member of Apple
CIDER (Computer Information and Data Exchange of Rochester). I've
been on the board for 3 years. The club has been around for over 20
years. Before CIDER, I a member of a MacRIT, a MUG at my college that
I helped to resurrect.
I'm CIDER's Apple Ambassador and Vendor Liason.
We're noticing a decline in membership over the past 18 months or so
(we're at ~120 paid members at the moment), and we're really
interested in what works to bring in new faces.
I also liked the "attendance" thread, but I think a message board
would be more useful to the vast majority of user groups.
On the fundraising front, We have a DVD for sale of Steve Wozniak's
visit and speech. Professionally shot and edited, with great insights
of Woz's personal history by the man himself! Let me know if you'd
be interested, only $19.76 ;-)
