Howdy, from Tucson,
I'm Curt Blanchard, Secretary at the Tucson Macintosh Users Group. I've
moved around the country during my career using a Mac beginning in 1986. I
started out in New England where I was a a BCS member, then moved to San
Francisco where I joined BMUG (and used to drop in frequently to buy
floppies!). When we moved to Tucson a number of years ago, I joined TMUG
where I am now secretary of our resolute little group here that includes
over 250 members. The MUG community is as homogeneous as it is diverse. Good
people of similar interests but with hugely differing backgrounds and career
paths: butchers and bakers and candlestick makers, indeed! That's what makes
the Mac community such fun - in our own ways, we're all evangelists. The PC
world has no real equivalent to this communal spirit.
Curt Blanchard, TMUG
