Do you backup your mailing list?
Do you backup your database and more than one person have access to it?
Who control the access to the Apple Locator database, one person, more than one?
We used to back up most of important digital info on the iDisk of our User Group .Mac account which all Board Members had access to. Any Board Member with the Log-in and Password had access to it. We used to have our membership list as a Appleworks Database File and it was stored on the iDisk.
Our current President wanted to automate our membership/mailing list so he created a Filemaker Pro database hosted on one of his companies servers for our current list. All Board members have Read Access but only the Membership Director and President (I Think) have Read/Write/Modify access. I have most of the login/access info to our website. I guess we should put something in place just in case something happen. Maybe copies of certain important info should be logged with the Secretary and Backed up to our iDisk.
