Hi folks
I know I'm a little late with our shout-out but I've been swamped in recent
weeks and have barely had time to read my list emails, let alone respond to
them!
I'm the Treasurer and Apple Ambassador for our newly forming (we've not even
had our first meeting yet) Glasgow Mac Users Group (GlasMUG) in Glasgow,
Scotland, UK. We are only the third User Group in Scotland, the other two
being Campus-bound and not open to general membership, although I just heard
tonight that another, further to the north of Scotland, is starting up with
their first meeting tomorrow, so technically that makes us the fourth in
Scotland. Maybe we'll talk to them sometime soon about forming some kind of
Scottish Regional Group too.
I do read the posts occasionally, and am soaking up lots of useful info that
I'll pass on to our members once we're up and running. I hope I'll be able
to contribute something once we're established too. In the meantime, I'll
post when we have a date set for our first meeting, and probably bombard you
all with lots of questions when I realise I haven't thought of half the
stuff I need to in order to get the group off the ground.
Loving this thread - it's great to see where/what everyone else is.
Regards
Kath Gibson
Ambassador/Treasurer
