1 - The MUG Event Calendar for the Week of September 17: Apple, Adobe,
Tropical Software, Intuit, MacSpeech, Picnics and Meeting Topics Galore!

This week, Mac User Groups around the world will play host to one of the
most diverse rosters of guests and topics that we've seen in quite some
time. Apple will present iDVD in California and Adobe is the featured
presenter in Kansas. James Lee of Tropical Software will be in Virginia
and Intuit will show off Quicken in California, while MacSpeech will be
the guest of honor in Tennessee. (more)

A few weeks ago we told you about EmiratesMac, the first Mac User Group
in the United Arab Emirates, that was just getting started. Well, that
was then, this is now, and EmiratesMac is fast out of the gate. One of
their members, "iDubai," will be participating in the Gulf Radical Cup
high performance car series, and has agreed to have the EmiratesMac logo
displayed prominently on his car's front fenders. (more)
