Here is another though. If you are reasonable close to another MUG, you might have a joint meeting and invite a big vendor to be there. I am sure the vendor would appreciate a joint meeting to show off their product. If you do this every once and a while and switch meeting places, this could be helpful. Though there are always those people that won't cross town to go to a meeting rather than travel the distance to Spartenberg.
