We recently had a problem with emails sent to the address listed with
Apple for our Ambassador.  Does anyone know if vendors are allowed to
contact user groups directly and unsolicited.  More than once we've
asked to be taken off a vendor list and they said no because we agree
as Ambassador to accept direct contacts from vendors--we essentially
preauthorize by listing with Apple.  One said they had approval from
the UGAB.

I looked through our documentation and couldn't find a policy
statement either way.

Are vendors allowed to use the UG database to contact groups directly
to send Unsolicited Commercial Bulk Email?
