Hi Terry
I was only joking about lack of technology confidence hence the :-)
I'm fascinated by this method of delivery of presentations especially
for groups here in the UK who have little or no access to folks from
Apple/Adobe to come and demo to the group, but may be persuaded to do so
remotely.
It might be worth clarifying what sort of bandwidth requirements are
needed, High speed may mean different things to different groups. We are
lucky to meet sometime in the university with 100MB + bandwidth, or
sometimes in a local conference suite with 2MB, both think they have
'High Speed' Internet connections.
Surely 24kbps of voice isn't going to impact too heavily on the
conference, are you including some Q&A in these sessions, if so how does
that bit work?
When Leopard arrives with iChat screen sharing I intend to make sure we
start sharing some of our meetings/presentations with folks who can't
physically be there, but if Connect can do this now we can always give
it a go.
Cheers
Benjamin

Hi Benjamin,
Corrections to the email:
Computer with a High-speed Internet Connection and speakers for the
audience to hear the audio
Land line phone with speaker phone capabilities would be ideal,
otherwise we'll do VoIP.
Projector
Screen
It's not a matter of confidence in the technology. It's a matter of
bandwidth. If you have a phone, we'll use it and that's one less thing
going through the data pipe, giving a better visual experience for
apps to be shown. Keep in mind we're pushing a lot of data through
this connection showing apps like Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

Do they mean land line phone as opposed to one reliant on an Internet
Connection like voip?
If they do, it shows great confidence in their conferencing software :-)

This morning I received an invitation from Adobe User Groups
offering a presentation for Adobe CS3 (see below).
One of their requirements is a "LAN line phone."
I know a lot, but it seems, not enough. What is a LAN line phone?
