Hi Rick - Nice to hear from you again.
There were two installers issued by Apple for AW6... one for OS 9, one for OS X. If (s)he has the OS 9 installer it won't install in the new MacBook because the computer does not support Classic Mode (OS 9).
If your member has the OS X installer it will install and run just fine in OS X. I use it myself.
There is one caveat, though. The App, is not a Mac/Intel program and will run a bit slower on his new MacBook.

One of our members is an AppleWorks user in OS 9. She just got a new iBook with OS X 4 on it. I know there is an AppleWorks 6.2.9 version of AppleWorks. Will this work on OS X 4? I knew that I worked on the early versions of OS 10, will it work on OS X 4?
