I have been reading a bit about using Apple logos and web badges on club websites and documents (like newsletters, email and stationary).
Apple does not "authorize" a User Group, but they do "recognize" them.
We (the PBMUG) use a simple disclaimer, "Apple, the Apple Logo, and Macintosh are trademarks of Apple, Inc., registered in the U.S.A. and other countries. PBMUG, Inc. is a recognized independent user group and has not been authorized, sponsored, or otherwise approved by Apple, Inc."
I'm no lawyer, but that seems to fill the bill.
One of the resources available to Apple User Groups is the Apple Sales Web site. If you don't have an account for your group contact your Regional Liaison for information to sign up. Once signed in, look for Item L27741A-US_L27741A-US_Apple_User_Group.sit
