July is winding down with an eclectic mix of presenters and topics at
Mac User Groups around the world.
The MacNotables are well-represented this week as Christopher Breen
presents to a group in Hawaii and Chuck Joiner virtual-visits a group in
Kentucky.
Final Cut Pro User Groups are also in the news this week, with FCPUG
meetings in Indiana, California, Florida and Illinois with topics that
range from Final Cut Studio, Apple Color, audio fundamentals and more.
The iPhone continues to be the topic of conversation at many MUGs, but
Widgets, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Digital Cinema, purchasing on Craig's
List, typography, iWeb and more are all at the top of the MUG meeting
agendas this week. (more)

around to enjoy 2.0 status they need new blood to be ready to step up to
the leadership plate.
We'll look at ways to encourage involvement in future editions, but for
now, you need to make sure that you have a decent chance at getting
young people to your meetings. That means that your meeting time has to
be convenient...and that doesn't mean holding meetings on Friday night or
Saturday morning. (more)
