While Apple's Worldwide Developer's Conference will be what's on
everyone's mind this week, Mac User Groups will focus not only on those
announcements, but also a host of impressive speakers and topics around
the globe.
WWDC will be the primary focus for groups in Canada, Australia, the
United Kingdom, Pennsylvania and Alabama, but will undoubtedly be on the
agenda everywhere.
The week's highlighted speakers include Apple Senior Systems Engineer
Tony Murphy in Maryland, Apple Store presenter Chris Serafini and, James
Lee of Tropical Software both in California, and Terry White of Adobe
and GraphicConverter author Thorston Lemke, both in Texas. (more)

Colya Kaminiarz has passed away at the age of 36. (more)

Next week, Apple will host the annual Worldwide Developers Conference in
San Francisco and Mac User Groups around the world will use the
announcements at that meeting as the basis for their monthly meetings. (more)

off iListen, the speech recognition solution for the Macintosh. Chuck
will also cover the benefits and limitations of speech recognition

United States, as well as at the June meetings of the North Florida

7 - Steve Wozniak Will Visit California Mac User Group in June

The Tri-Valley Macintosh Users Group (TMUG) has announced that Apple co-
founder Steve Wozniak will be their guest at a special event on June 21.
Steve will be talking about his experiences during the early days of
personal computing, his thoughts on Apple's most recent developments and
computers in education.. There will also be an opportunity to have
copies of his book, "iWoz, personally signed. (more)
