I was curious how many groups out there are planning iPhone
meetings this summer?
Although it is still winter down under and we won't see the iPhone
here in Australia until at least early 2009, Perry Liebe and I will
be conducting a session on July 10, for the Macintosh Multimedia
Group, which is a joint venture between two of Australia's premier
Macintosh User Groups, AUSOM Incorporated and iMug.
The aim of the "iPhone Discussions" session will be to do exactly
that... Discuss the iPhone... and whilst we won't have an actual
iPhone itself, I am discussing options with various contacts I have
in the US to arrange interviews... either recorded or live via iChat
(wishing iChat Theatre was out already ;) to get their thoughts and
opinions.
If anyone on this list would be interested in participating in this,
please drop me at a line via email@hidden
We'll also try and answer the six million dollar question - Do we
wait for the iPhone launch here in Australia or do we upgrade our
current handsets with a product shipping now.
