Hey folks...
I think that you're missing a key point here.
Sure, the NFR is intended for demo purposes, but the discussion so far
has been that "first impression" demo that we're all anxious to deliver.
But that's not the bigger picture.
Giving each MUG an NFR assures that you can upgrade you group's primary
or demo Mac with the current version of the OS, to support not just that
first demo, but all the demos and activities you'll deliver going forward.
In short, they just gave your group a $129 (retail) donation (less
shipping and handling) on software that you'll use every single time you
boot the machine (something you can't say for virtually any other
software your group receives as a donation) and allowed you to stay
current legally.
Sounds to me like a "thank you" is in order.
