October in the Mac User Group world kicks off with some outstanding
presenters and a focus on the newest editions of some of Apple's
flagship software.
The action seems to be in California this week, with Chrisopher Breen of
Macworld and MacNotables continuing a long run of MUG appearances and
Jennifer Bell of Prosoft showing off JoeSoft products. Dan Wood of
Karelia will demonstrate Sandvox and Nick Brazzi from the Apple Store
will present iWork '08. From there, iWork '08 and iLife '08 are on
agendas in Florida, Australia, Michigan, New Jersey and beyond.
Other topics to be discussed this week include personal finance on the
Mac, posting photos on the web, degunking your Mac, video
teleconferencing, Toast 8 and much more. (more)
